We're working to bring the forum back up on a new server, hopefully
recovering all data from the most recent backup on Monday, Nov 6th.
Update, Wednesday Nov 8: The new server has
XenForo, rather
than
vBulletin 4.
43,883 users, 33,929 threads, and 286,898 messages have been imported from
the Nov 6th database backup. Attached images and files in messages are
mostly intact, so all important content appears to have survived. Several
important features still need to be
set up, including "not a robot" verification for new registration and email
notifications. Redirects for old URLs to the new forum are also still a
work in progress. We're hoping to have the new server ready for public use
soon.
Update, Wednesday Nov 8: The new forum server is up, right at the
48 hour mark since the old server went down. If you're

please wait up to 30 minutes for your DNS client to update.
